Why do some people feel that they have a right to judge others? I feel that some opinions should be kept to ourselves. These judgements include: weight, physical characteristics, sexual orientation, and religion etc. GET OVER IT!! If a person weighs a ton, yes they might be unhealthy but it could be a health problem. Why is it needed to announce they are big? I do believe they know. Also, physical characteristics. Yes there is plastic surgery, but really? Really? Don't comment on someone saying, wow you have big ears. Why is that needed? Why do you have to say it? Would it kill you to just say nothing at all? Next hot topic sexual orientation. This is not a new thing, it has been around forever. It only now has a name. People were bisexual way back in the day and nothing was thought of it, it was just a way of life. Also, men were having sex with men, because it wasn't taboo. Gay & Lesbianism have been around so get over it..move on.
I believe that when people are hostile towards certain topics it is because they are scared, which means they don't understand. To all those who I have offended I do appologize and you obviously fall in the category of "Captain Obviouses", but it isn't you life and who gave you a license to judge others? Do not judge lest ye be judged.
My favorite quote on physical characterstics from my friend: (super duper christain)Person 'A' said, "You have long hair, you really need to cut it...it is inapropriate"...Person 'B' responds, "But Jesus had long hair?" LoL..point made. Don't judge.

I feel that women do not get the respect they need. So lets start with this: Women...if you portray yourself as a "hoochie" don't be shock when you get treated like one. If you wear the smallest pieces of clothes in public then don't get offended when people tried to talk to you. GIRL you wore a MINISKIRT with a TUBETOP..what did you expect. Also, on this topic. To the random girl at ODU. I really didn't appreciate the view I received...and also what happened to covering your jewels. The first thing I thought was OMG..and the second was crap I didn't make it to her face I hope we don't have a class together...the third was..ewww what if she sits in a desk that I am going to sit in. You know herpes stays on a non porous surface for 14 days? She had on a tiny black skirt and didn't have to bend over at all for the world to see her vagina. That is right..this skirt was sooo short it looked like a badeau top, and yes people no undergarments on. WHAT! So respect is earned..soo...HOW CAN YOU EXPECT OTHERS TO RESPECT YOU IF YOU DON'T EVEN RESPECT YOURSELVES?

McDonald's make people fat? Really?
Another company is yet again making trouble with McDonald's. They are claiming that by Mckie D's putting toys in their happy meals it is causing kids to get fat. Slippery slope? I think so. This must be their thinking: Toys in happymeals=kids getting fat. What about this one then: Parents $=happymeal. So then it is safe to assume the following: Parents=kids getting fat.
Companies: Stop blaming Mckie D's for peoples health problems. They only way you should be allowed to sue them is if a CEO of Mckie D's holds people hostage and shoves valuemeals down their throats for WEEKS MONTHS...otherwise McDonald's is not directly respondible. The accusations that are being put out there are slippery slope, which is a rhetorical fallacy and shouldn't hold up in court.
People: STOP blaming McDonald's for your health problems. No one is making you eat there. Do not use the excuse that healthy food is too expensive! By not driving to McDonald's for all your meals, think about the gas you WON'T be using..then think about how much money you will save by not using that gas! No Excuses.
Therefor, the only people to blame for kids being overweight is the caretakers. UNLESS the child has a health related issue that cause weightgain. Otherwise..they are to blame. Also, what about Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, Hardees, Taco Bell..etc. Are they not just as equally to blame as McDonald's? Then why aren't they getting blamed? Lets just be honest people, McDonald's brings in the most revenue so you want their money! This is just all pointless.
Sincerely,
Simply Irritated.

Feels like another JOB
Relationships...Realtionships. Is marriage and relationshships just another institution to make money? Think about it. When the economy is down, people will still spend money on things they want. Marriage has got to be a trillion dollar institute. Putting that aside; isn't the wedding band just a smaller shackle? Why do we wear it? To show that we are taken. BUT shouldn't a good trusting relationship not need wedding bands. Now, I am only complaining because I'm irritated. My husband, *rolling eyes*, hardly ever wears his. He says he can't wear it to work, which I believe(with his job he would lose a finger). However, he hardly even wears it any other time. Now, this wouldn't bother me, except when I forget to wear mine, WELL you would think the world was ending. Moving on...
Marriage. Is it not an institution such as education, or any other sort. AND isn't the wedding band another form of restriction? Don't get me wrong, I had a wedding, and I wear my band; I was just thinking is all. That's it, I just wanted to put my thought out there.

All shapes and sizes
Wanna hear a fun useless fact? I know that almost all women go through this. You wake up look in the mirror and your like Damn, and you just feel ugly. I always love it when my friends who are obviously skinnier than me are like, ugh I am so fat(about themselves). Then they tell me how they think I have a cute shape. Whatever ladies, I love you but your full of bullshit. Now, don't get me wrong I'm not huge. I lie about my height but not my weight. I am not skinny. My doctor says I am over weight. I am about 5'3.5 (at least let me have the .5!!), I always will tell you I am 5'5 or 5'6 though. That's a lie. I always try to stand on my tippy toes at the doctors office just to give me a little more height! Ha. I weigh about 163 lbs. I am suppose to weigh I think like 135-155. BUT I like my size, sometimes. I wish I could have a stomach like Pink's with a donk, and my boobs. For those of you who don't know, a Donk is a big bubble butt, think along the lines of being able to sit a bottle of shampoo on your butt with it leaning against your back, walk and it stay...that's a donk. My ideal shape is probably not going to happen. So, anyways, I am in one of the mood kicks where I feel like I need to shape up. MAINLY because we are moving near LA (Cali), and I have heard those girls look like barbies. I don't want to be skinny...so I am on a mission to try my hardest to have or at least get close to the flat tummy, big butt, and keep the boobs size. I wanna keep the curves but tone up and drop a little weight(think like 10-15 lbs) to get into my healthy weight range. SOOOOO..I have decided to try this Hydroxycut Advance. It is my second day, and I am only doing 1 pill 2x a day. I got the jitters like a crack head, and heartburn, but other than that it's good. LoL. So, I will try to keep you informed about this little Hydroxy challenge. I guess I should post a before pic...*sigh*. Fine, but don't be mean people!! This is my hubbilybub and I at our wedding 08/01/2009! I just wish we could all feel beautiful, but thanks to the media with the FAD being skinny....that will probably not be for a while. If I would've been born around Marilyn Monroe's time, I wouldn't be so thick in societies eyes. Marilyn I believe was a size 14, which I figure is about a 8-10 now. That is a woman, versus a size 0-1 of the models now.
Random
Hello to anyone interested! I just want to share my thoughts. I have always been like, "Hey, want to hear a fun useless fact?", and that's how I start to share anything random. I figure it gives people a proper warning of what my mind is getting ready to throw at them. So, Hey wanna hear a fun useless fact?
I'm almost done with my BS degree, and am super excited to just be finished! However, my goal is to go to dental school. Now this shouldn't be a problem, at least it wouldn't be for a man. Here let me explain:
1. To go to dental school, I would have to join the military to fund it. I can't afford that amount without going Navy or Airforce.
2. I am married to a Marine, so we would be a part for the time I was in school. (4 years)
--With the military he doesn't have the option to be near me UNLESS my school is near where he will be stationed. That is just how the military works.
3. I waited to go to college, so by the time I graduate dental school I would be pushing 31ish. That is not old...at all!! BUT..I wanted to have my first child before 30, and if I go to school..not gonna happen.
4. If I go military there is a good chance I will get deployed, and worse case is I could die.
I'm not a pessimist...but hey this is a big deal to me.
So here is my rant and rave!! With being a woman sometimes we feel like we have to chose between our family or our career. Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who supports me. I still feel guilty about not having kids right out the gate. My mom calls me to remind me that she is not getting any younger and she would like to be able to enjoy her grandkids. GEESH! I want a career, and have the option to give my child a secure future. Now all I hear on T.V. is "women will lose 90% of their eggs by 30". Great, so if I have complications when I finish dental school...then it is all my fault that I waited, and it will make me feel like I chose my career over family.
Men never have to go through this. They don't have to push to have kids, if the tools work they can have kids up until the day they die. Even with the progress women have made we are still held back by our own personal shackles. We still feel like we have to provide a family, healthy children. AND if we don't, well then we are failures for what we were created for. I hesitate with any choices in life. I've learned from past experiences to ALWAYS LOOK..always. So, I am trying to figure out what to do. I have no idea.
